Yucaipa Regional Park holds lakes, a swim complex and campgrounds, and Wildwood Canyon State Park and the Crafton Hills Open Space Conservancy preserve the upper slopes. Oak Glen's apple ranches and cider mills draw regional autumn traffic. The Mousley Museum of Natural History and the Yucaipa Adobe record the local history. Crafton Hills College is the main institutional employer alongside the school district, with most residents commuting west to Redlands, Loma Linda and San Bernardino or east toward Beaumont along the 10.
